ESA Spectrum Sharing Makerspace

Satellites, 5G networks, drones – and one shared challenge: how to use radio spectrum more efficiently. Join the final event of the ESA Spectrum Sharing Makerspace programme, where 11 supported projects, current trends and new opportunities in spectrum sharing will be presented. The event will be held in English.

What will we talk about?

We will focus on smart radio spectrum sharing and the technologies that help make more efficient use of frequencies for satellite communication, 5G networks, drones and other wireless systems.

At the final event of the ESA Spectrum Sharing Makerspace programme, 11 supported projects will be presented – covering topics from software and hardware for radio wave management, through smart antennas, to signal analysis.

The event will also include a panel discussion on the latest developments in spectrum sharing, as well as time for networking.

Who is the event for?

The event is designed for startups, technology companies, research teams and professionals working in wireless technologies, satellite communication, 5G networks, drones, hardware and software development, or signal processing.

It will also be relevant for anyone who wants to get a quick overview of where the field of radio spectrum sharing is heading and what opportunities it may bring for business, research and new technology projects.
