Jan is the founder and CEO of FaceUp, a global scale-up and all-in-one platform for whistleblowing, ethics, and compliance. FaceUp helps organizations build trust, strengthen integrity, and create safer workplaces while protecting their reputation, people, and culture. Today, the platform is used by over 3,600 organizations across 70+ countries, with key markets in the US and UAE. The company has raised $9M across three funding rounds.

Outside of FaceUp, Jan is an active angel investor. Together with Jiří Hlavenka, he has invested in 13 startups – two have successfully exited, one has shut down, and the rest continue to grow. They typically invest in early-stage companies and support them during their initial growth phase.

Jan has been building businesses since the age of 12 and quickly developed a passion for entrepreneurship – choosing to pursue it full-time instead of completing high school. In early 2026, he received the EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award, and in 2025, FaceUp was ranked by Deloitte as the second fastest-growing technology company in the Czech Republic.
