The
manufacturing industry is undergoing an
intensive transformation. The accelerated speed of
digitalisation combined with the
disruption of global
supplier chains open new
opportunities for near-shoring and closer collaboration among European companies.
South Moravia was the
first Czech region to provide a dedicated
support of digital transformation to SMEs and responded by setting up
INTEMAC, a competence centre in advanced manufacturing technologies. INTEMAC was the initiator of the first Czech DIH which has been transformed to EDIH DIGIMAT.
